My phone sends the same text twice to people?

I have at&t

and I got a new phone about two months ago (blackberry curve)

and I just got texting about 3 weeks ago

but for some reason my phone sends the same text twice to people like to everyone and they get really annoyed! hah

why does it do this??
I dont press send twice either...


and sometimes it sends 3 of the same messages!
 
one time my phone sent my message 8 times:)
i think it's at&t being gay, honestly.
