My period is over a week late, and I took a pregnancy test but it came out negative....

...Could It be wrong? My period is over a week late so far, I have had some cramping, but usually its gas, and I was extremely moody a week or so ago, which would have been a sign of my period coming, but it never came, The moodiness and cramping subsided, with no period. I took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I have had this test for atleast a few months, probably longer. I was wondering if it could be expired. Its one of those clear blue easy read tests.
I threw away the box to the tests, only had the test wrapped in the plastic wrapping. Not sure if it was expired or not.
 
I know this seems like common sense, but read the directions and follow them carefully. Look on the package to make sure it is not expired. Also, make sure you take the test with the mornings first pee. Good Luck.
 
yes, there IS such thing on a faulse negative, but NOT a faulse possitive.
