My period is due next week, when I will be on drama camp.
I'm always really paranoid about stains and I'm really worried about what to do with pads and tampons after they've been used.
I mean, I can't exactly carry them back and put them in my bag. I can't flush them. I can't take them to a bin or EVERYONE will know.
There are also boys on the camp, and boys tend to give girls a hard time about periods.
Please help!
There usually are those sanitary disposal bins, but they're never in every stall, only like two out of twenty, so I can't guarantee that I'll be able to get one every time.

put them in the trash just like everyone else does. wear dark clothes and use a panty liner with a tampon for a little extra protection. as for the boys explain to them that its a natural process (the more detail the better cuz it grosses them out) and proceed to tell them that they wouldnt be here if not for ole aunt flow and to basically go away ... they will eventually leave you alone... but if they are picking on you for it just ignore them b/c it will eventually become less fun and who cares what they thing... you are woman let them hear you roar. good luck

well most bathrooms have containers to throw them away in and if this one doesn't.... then im sorry i don't really know...

Aren't there little garbage cans inside the girl's stalls? Or at least in the bathroom? If so then just throw them in there. But if not, then bring a hoodie or another sweater with pockets, wrap them in toilet paper, slip them in your hoodie pocket, and throw them away in the closest garbage can you can find. Many of the girls at your camp have probably started their periods also, so if they give you a hard time then mention that they probably have one too, and it's nothing to be ashamed of. And as for the guys, just call them childish, because it's a part of life. It's better than not being clean.
