My PC keeps dropping its connection to my Apple TV. It loses the handshake

after a few minutes and goes dead. It won't let me sync or stream for more than a few minutes and I have to either restart iTunes or freresh my wi-fi connection on the Apple TV for my PC to recognize that the device is on the network. What gives?
