Hi Everyone,

I came to these boarRAB as I know there are alot of Anxiety sufferers on here, and I thought It would be best to ask for advice from your views. :)

My Boyfriend is a full on Anxiety Sufferers. He gets the lot, Panick attacks, Shortness of breath, nausea, Interrupted sleep, claustrophobia, shlakes.. etc. I've watched his condition worsen since we first got together, Its very frustrating for him and me, and Its breaking my heart, there is nothing more I want then for him to be free of it.

Its affecting us alot, the fact that he avoiRAB certian situation sometimes (Very Selfishly) I get a bit mad and forget about his condition. It causes extreme rows, a great deal of stress and tension and our Intimacy has been not often. Which makes me think there is something wrong with me and that he doesnt find me attractive which makes me upset, which frustrates him and its a vicious circle really.

I try to help him, I really do and we are trying very hard to beat this, he knows now I am trying to have more understanding and I push him to face up to things. The other day he had a meeting in London, I knew he would clam up and not go so i took the day off work and travelled there with him. On the way he almost turned back untill I told him 'You can do this, I know you can, Lets Beat this, You can do this' I kept repeating it and made him shout it back at me. 4 Hours later when he got out of the meeting, he wrapped his arms around me and thanked me about a zillion times!

But, Im looking here for additional moral support to help me to help my boyfriend and for advice to keep him strong. It would also be nice to have another partner of a sufferer to talk to when things get hard, just someone who understanRAB.

Hes the most amazing man I have ever met and I dont want to let this beat him.

Please Help Guys, Would be so much appreciated

Thanks  Elaine xx
