My parents make too much money for financial aid, they won't let me go to Stanford...

...University? I am 16 and deaf, I can't get financial aid because my parents make too much money, they are forcing me to go to Texas Tech, I don't want to go there, I want to go to Stanford University. So how can I apply for Scholarship so I will pay for less on my own because my parents won't pay for it? I need to apply for Scholarship, can I still do it? Thanks!
