I am a 16 y/o gay male and I came out to my parents last year. My father accepted me right away but my mother is having a hard time. my father always takes my side when my mother always get on me and this pisses her off. My father has been there for me since I told him and he supports me 100% but my mothers tells me that she didn't help raise any gay kids (I have 5 brothers). I have to hear them argue every day ans it's hurting me because I love both of them so much and just want some peace. My dad bought me a car and I try to stay out as long as I can before I head home because I know what it's going to be like. My mother also hate the fact that my father bought me a car because when I get upset/mad or if she starts getting on me I leave and stay gone until she cools off. I don't care any more if she dislikes me now but I don't want the marriage to end over me etc. How can I try to make peace between them?
My brothers are older then me and they all treat me the same as before I came out. They also argue with my mother sometimes over me being gay.
