My own gas mileage question

There is only one gas station in our town that sells the 100% premium gasoline.
They rest sell the "up to 10%" stuff.
They get a majority of the motorcycle business from the locals.

I figure if I'm getting 40 it's doing okay...based on what I saw with my 09 Ultra Classic

Hell, I only wish I got 35-37! At least that would mean I would get at least 200 miles out of a tank. I think I need tanker for a chase vehicle on long trips! Or not-so-long trips.

BINGO!!!! Something else I have been wanting to ask about is who uses what sort of fuel additives. Never found anything about it in my manual but then again you don't see it in car manuals either. I hope to get some responses to this so asking, what does anybody use? We use EFI/intake cleaners in our cages so why not our bikes? Mine is an 01 and has a carburetor but even in older vehicles aw well as new I like to use Lucas fuel system cleaner.

Marvel Mystery Oil is a good additive and Sta-Bil keeps the gas fresh when it's not being run frequently.
