My Number: Unknown

2 questions really. have a Pearl 8100, with 4.2.1.107, and ported my number over from Sprint. in the call log, there is a space that says "My Number: Unknown." Before I had the number ported that space had the number that came with the new account, but once the port was complete it became Unknown. How can i get my current number into that space??

my other question is, whats the best number to call for voice mail. I see the number currently called is not a toll free number, and I'm not even sure where the area code actually lands. With my old Sprint setup I would call my self, a free call, and get my mail that way, is there a better method?
 
~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~what company do you have. If you have Tmobile its a computer issue error that Tmobile has to send to you ota. Mine had that problem to for a little while til I called their pda department
 
yeah mine took way to long so i called and they just transferred it to me... im not sure what other companies do
