my nokia x2 records in .mp3 and not in .mp4 as it should?

its a new phone so when i tried recording from the camera, it only recorded for 2seconds so changed the option to use max space available.now it records on the memory card but in .3gp.
I s there any way i can fix this?
any specialist forums that can assist me with this-except nokia
an e-mail id i cold use to talk with a nokia rep (just like apple)???
