...dance. What do you think? My niece has friends who are 14 and 14 that are girls. Her friends that are that age naturally have friends that are 16/17.
Her one friend of friends who is 16 knows a boy that has hung out with the group a few times and well, he has been going over my nieces house a lot. Maybe they are friends but I think that are dating. I let my brother be a judge and he feels its ok. Now he wants to bring her to the welcome back dance.
I am ok with it and so is he but her friends parents are in an uproar about it. I can understand the issue. Yea she's 11 hanging with older people and might be pressured into having sex or doing something she shouldn't be. But you can't protect them forever and me and my brother feel she needs to learn from her mistakes and make her own decisions.
This boy by the way is a member of a church, not our church, and is very well behaved. Says yes sir and no sir. He isn't one of those boys that listen to rap music and acts like he has an agenda with a girl. I think its just puppy love and they truly love each other so I mean let it be.
