My newt ate a cricket too big for him?

His mouth is completely full and he's just walking around. I'm not sure what to do?? I have a big newt and a small newt and I let two different size crickets go for them before class, after class I noticed the large cricket was gone but the small one was not, and my small newt had a full mouth. Should I pull the cricket out of his mouth? Will he spit it out? Will he eventually eat it? I'm not sure what to do =/
