I read online that by the end of the 1st month a newborn should be able to hold his head up briefly. Well with my son, he started right away!
He CANNOT lift his head while he is laying down, but he can lift his head and turn it from side to side while over my shoulder.
That was at about 2-3 days old!
He is now a week and 5 days old and I put him on his tummy on a boppy pillow and he lifted his head completely and held it up for about 5 seconds!
Is this at all abnormal?
I mean I'm not complaining, but is this unheard of?
He even wakes up once or twice at night!
He is never really cranky, mostly content.
I can't find anything about it online.
I just would like to know if well, is this normal?
