You're going to love this thing! Get a 2GB Mini SD card and you've got a damn good video and mp3 player. Once you get WAP working, Google Maps almost makes it a navigation system (although I can't get GM to see the Q's GPS chip yet :blush: ).
 
Honestly once i get the wap and mms up im gonna love it way more then the 6700. I get ooooh's and ahhhhh's everywhere i go. I went and bought the case at a verizon store and when the rep asked for my verizon nuraber i told him i dont have an account there. He said "and you have a Q?" I said yeah its on cricket and he nearly passed out and ask me how. I just told him im good like that. lol. But i do like it more then the 6700 now because of the thinness and the pretty screen and everything. Not having a touch screen was going to bother me i thought but i was wrong, i dont even miss it.
 
Interesting.

Idon't mind the thickness of the 6700, and I'm POSITIVE I'd miss the touchscreen,and I already hate the small keys. I played with a Q at the verizon store a while ago and didn't like it at all, because the keys are so small I couldn't help but press 2 at a time.
 
lol i did that the first night but now i text faster on it then i id hte 6700. and the touch screen isnt missed that much. I always had some kind of problem with the 6700 and i dont with the Q. I love it. Now just to uber hax it...
 
I agree 100%. I need a "man phone". I need a small, square brick. I don't want anything too thin or too "cute".

The xv6700 is built for bidnuss. I'm not dissing the Q. It's pretty and svelt and all. It's just not for me.

No touchscreen = dealbreaker.
 
eh the other reason i sold my 6700 was cuz i was having problems with it and didnt touch it for a while because of my enV. But when i found the Q for $100 it was worth it so i jumped on it. I needed something new to hack anyway.
 
Absolutely... I was discussing the Iphone with a buddy today.. He just laughed when I told him I'd rather have my phone than an iphone, but I really would... The iphone is sleek and cool, but it's automatically missing a BUNCH of stuff that the 6700 offers, like the full qwerty keyboard.... I also do quite a few things by touch with my phone in my pocket (such as advancing songs when I'm listening to music).. with the iphone that's totally impossible.

I really do think the 6700 is the absolute best phone out there for the price. The 6800 would be great, but not until it comes down in price to where you can buy it for less than $400... Even at $400, I probably wouldn't upgrade.. but I'd have to think about it.
 
true.. the only reason why i would upgrade to the 6800 is the camara, the looks and its probably a lil faster...but its still not really worth almost 300 more than the 6700
