My neon fish is dying?

I dont know if I should take it out now or wait for it to totally die?
Would it make the other fish sick if I leav it in there until he dies?
Or is there anyway that I can help him?
He is twitching and floating on his side, and has been doing it for almost an hour now?
He keeps getting stuck to the filter now
 
If you want to be nice to the fish; put it on ice, or give him a good wack! with a spoon or something


If you are atached to the fish; put him in a bucket full of nice water and let it die....or have a friend knock him out
 
I wouldn't recommend flushing the fish, it will only result in a slow and painful death.

Before we can help we will need some details on the tank, including the tank size, water parameters (pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate) and whether or not the tank has been cycled.

Is the fish showing any other external symptoms?
