My N73 ME's volume too low...

Get a Noise blocking headphone from eithe Shure or Etymotic.
They will block external noise allowing you to listen at lower sound level.
the sound is just amazingggg

I'm using a pair of Sony MDR-EX71SL in-ear phones which are very good (close to Shure quality) but certainly not very sensitive (as good cans usually are). Don't have 3D ringtones on either. I guess I give mp3gain a shot. How much gain increase is safe usually without ruining quality?

One more thing, what can I use to convert my MP3s to AAC format?

Thanks!

I use the default gain of 89.0 dB and my mp3s work fine on my computer and ipod. Can't say if there's some problem with playback on your phone or not. However, I can say that changing the gain mp3gain is a lossless process, so if you end up changing the gain too high, you can change it right back and have no problems.

You can use this program and itunes to change your songs to .aac
