my mum has a very severe fear of Storms and sometimes if it storms really badly she even cries really badly and shakes and stuff and I understand that because I have a pretty severe social fear but I want you to tell me if this is unfair:
I'm 17. I sleep by myself every night. I have a single bed. when it storms, my mum comes from her bed downstairs, no matter what time it is, gets into my tiny bed and wakes me up In the mean time. even if I have school the next day.
it's not being with me that makes her feel safe but my room for some ffuuckes up reason. she even just sits in it if it's a tiny storm durig the day while I'm in here.
I told her it is extremely annoying and unfair of her to wake me yo and make me have a terrible uncomfortable nights sleep and that she needs to face her fear like I do and she started crying and said shed never go in there again and tried to (succeeded) in making me feel guilty by reminding me of the times I was scared as a child during the night and slept with her.
am I being mean or is she being unfair?
