COD 4 and Modern Warfare 2 are better games. You could argue for those instead. But the rating is "M" meaning its intended for 17 and up. There's no sexual content, and minimal cursing, so the rating comes from violence and gore. Perhaps that argument could go somewhere. I would let my 12 year old play it.
