My Motorola MotoRazr2 V9 Keypad is not working.... it keeps vibrating?

Have had phone for about 3 years, today it started vibrating for about 10mins then stops. It also keeps flashing a message on how to unlock external keys, but I have not locked them, can anyone help.
I can't use the keypads anymore because everytime I press them they just vibrate.

If you don't know please don't answer, I don't need jokes.
 
my mom's phone sorta had the same problem. nothing happens when i press on any keys... except for the red power on/off button. and when i click on the center navigation key, it vibrates but nothing happens.

i suspected there could be moisture within the keypad. What I did was i took a hair dryer (and yes a hair blower) and blew dry the keypad and the back of the phone (without the battery) till I think it's good enough for about 1.5 to 2 minutes. But be careful when you touch the phone after the blowdrying, it's slightly hot. And VOILA...the next time i tried to put the battery back in, switch on the phone, the phone no longer freezes and more importantly, all the keys are working now.

Hopefully this works for you as well.
