when I turned on my Motorola Cliq phone(which has functioned perfectly for over a year) I get the following ominous message "system UID's inconsistent" UIDs on system are inconsistent, you need to wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable. Beneath that is a red button with the words "I'm feeling lucky" inside. Well, I pushed it and the phone is almost completely non-functional w.r.t. the Android O/S and phone apps. Only the internet browser works. Does anyone know how to fix this? I copied the contents of the SD card to my pc and reformatted it. No change except for an empty sd card- no phone book no phone apps function, connect sync to Google so cannot get the Android market app to work etc...
