my motorcycle runs fine but as soon as i put it in gear it dies instantly help!?

i noticed that it did the same thing several months ago when i tried to put it in gear with the kickstand out. But now i made sure the kickstand was up and i cant get it into gear without it dying
 
the fact its fine out of gera tells you, a safety or the clutch its-self needs adjusting.
