...ideas as to how I can loosen it up? kawasaki. I can force the key into the slot but it will not turn. it gradually has gotten tougher to turn. I waited too late and now the key will not turn at all. i have tried several lubricants and sprays. any ideas as to how i can get the key/lock working again? thanks
 
Did you try some liquid wrench?
Go down to your local auto parts store & pick up some blaster rust
inhibitor. that stuff should work.
