...country a long time ago.? My mother lost her high school diploma, and she graduated from a foriegn country a long time ago. She says the school probably doesn't even exist anymore, and she wants to go learn how to do nails, but needs this high school diploma. Are there any suggestions?
Dad has his, and he graduated from the same school, but I don't want to do anything illegal.

She is from vietnam. I am hoping they would allow her to learn nails, using the fact that she is in her 50s, and has had plenty of life experiences.
 
Its always wise to keep a few certified copies of this, as well as keeping the original in safe place, maybe in a folder with passports etc.

Is this the highest qualification she has? I don't know which country you are from, but in Australia a High School Cert. is equivalent to a Certificate III and in most other situation you can use a Cert. III.

Try contacting the school, or any previous employers or study institutions that your mother has used. At her age (as she is a mother a am imagining she is at least in her 30s, probably 40s) she probably has enough life experience to get into a course. I know many courses offer people entry because of relevant work or experience to get in. This should work with her. If it doesn't I'm sorry, but I guess due to miss management of her belongings she lost it, and any proof of her qualification.
