I'm 18 and I'm not a small girl at all but at the same time I'm not a big girl. I'm in the middle. I'm not a stick but I'm not unhealthy either. Of course these days girls who are sticks are idolized so personally I already have an issue with feeling a bit better about myself when everyone around me is either a stick or trying to be one. My mother is a bigger woman and whenever we're watching television or looking in a magazine and she sees a woman who isn't super small she talks bad about her.
For example, we were watching television and there was this female dance group. There was one girl who was a bit bigger. Not even very much bigger. Just a tad bit and my mother started to go on and on about how fat she was and how she wasn't a good dancer. If a woman isn't skinny my mom thinks she's not a good dancer or actress or singer or anything like that and I told her how silly and annoying it was of her to be that way. Was it rude of me to say that to her?
