To swing my 8 month old upside down by her legs NOT supporting her back and neck and swing her upright several times. I was not in the room to see it but now i am very concerned and don't know what to do. First of all, my baby is very strong and sturdy, but i am worried that it could have shaken her up. she seems to be ok, although i am a little paranoid that she is whining a little more.. Should i take her to the doctor, and what should i say to the mom in law? My mother is the one who witnessed it and was appalled and came to me and told me about the incident. Help, I am so worried about the long term effects of this. Will she be ok. I need to feel better.
I will also mention that i do not think she realizes how old my daughter is, I think she thinks of her as a four year old instead of a fragile 8 month old.
