this is my 2nd child, the first of which she planned--including choosing the godparents.

This time around she is doing it AGAIN, and choosing ofcourse her KIDS as the grandparents. I want my brother and sisterinlaw. SHE IS saying why and how....

What should I DO????????? without getting into it w/them...

Tell her firmly that you already picked out two great godparents. Also, tell her firmly that you are planning the baptism and you will ask her for help when it's needed.

If she gets upset, then TOO BAD. She doesn't have to come.

You gave birth to it, you have a say. I don't care if she is the grandmother. You're THE MAMA.

I see nothing wrong with expressing how you feel. There's no need in yelling or screaming. Just simply talking and putting everything on the table. They may not agree with it, but it is YOUR child. You are the one who decides what is best for the child.
