My mother-in-law is making me crazy! My son is 11 months old and just the other day she gave him a cookie with chocolate and peanut butter!!! He had NEVER had either of those foods (I was waiting until he was at least one, especially with the peanut butter)! Hayden chomped a huge bite out of the cookie before I could take it away.
A month ago, she let him throw lettuce and straws ALL over the table at the restaurant when I ran to the restroom. One of my in-laws watched her do it too. What the heck?! Those are some horrid manners!
Two days ago, she took our baby gate to "borrow" (which I said it was ok because she was dog-sitting at her house), but now she isn't sure when she'll have time to bring it back - she's thinking "in a few weeks." Hello! We need that gate!!! I was being nice by letting her borrow it though it was an inconvenience to me.
Any idea on how I can fix this problem? I'm going crazy. Anyone else have similar stories? I'd looove to hear them!
