This is no joke! She is always in the middle of me and my wife's conversations. Me and my wife visit her house every day for hours at a time, I get tired of it quick but my wife never wants to spend time with just me and when we are alone, her mom calls every hour, literally! Her mom attempts to tell me what to wear, what to do, even how to drive! She constantly critiques me! I don't know what to do. My wife is always on her side and I don't get it. She even looks out her window everytime we leave her house as we go to my car. Honestly, I feel like I have 3 mothers, my wife, my M-I-L, and my own mom, who I rarely see anymore. It got to the point where I have to take medication to control my emotions whenever my MIL tells me what to do! It gets worse, she is a stay at home mom and my father in law does not have a retirement plan! Their retirement depends on living with me and my wife in the future, they told me this! And now she is trying to pressure me and my wife to buy a house.......right across the street from them!!! I'm going nuts, it's getting out of control and I don't know what to do.
