...trials? My mom has breast cancer which has spread to her bones, she had both breasts removed and some lymph nodes. Her cancer in her bones is being treated with radiation, and while she was in treatment it was discovered that she has esophageal cancer which has spread to her stomach. Dr refuses to treat, only offers pain management, won't even stent. Mom wants to do a clinical trial, but I'm not sure she qualifies, as she has two active cancers. Can she get in a clinical trial? and why won't they treat? I've seen the scan and the tumor in her esophagus is rather small, about the size of a peach pit. We only found out this week, so I really want to know if I will be burying my mom this month, or next, or this year. Please help, thanks.
