My mom wont take me to the eye doctor,help?

My Mom is a proffessional-crastinator,I've been asking her for almost a year to take me to the eye doctor to replace my glasses so i can learn to drive,because my eyesight sucks unless i get some new glasses that fit right and have a stronger perscription ,She never says why she wont take me.My dad asked her why she wont take me,she beats around the bush and avoids answering.I Dont understand,Is there something that would make sense that I'm overlooking? I know money isn't an issue because we eat fine,we arent poor or anything,but not rich either. I dont know if she just hates doctors,Im pretty sure her and the eye doctor dont have any kind of personal disagreements. I would really appreciate maybe a reason that I may have overlooked. I'm pretty sure this isn't normal whatever is going on. If you guys dont know any reason for her being an idiot about this,at least give me an idea of how to convince her to take me. thanks in advance guys =)
