My mom was involved in a car accident with her car, and a toyota...Can we sue?

Today, my mom got hit by a Toyota traveling at a high rated speed due to the accelerator issue. Both cars were destroyed, and my mom was rushed to the hospital. She is fine, but does have some bruises, and is experiencing extreme pain in one of her legs, and has to wear a neck brace. Do we have a good case to sue toyota? Thanks
