My mom has itchy hand palms. She's had it these last few days. Any help?

Hi.sounds like an allergy or...liver/kidney problems.
Is she taking aspirin, on any antibiotics or has recently had any other health issues?
Has she started to use a new shampoo or soap or lotion type of product?

I have the same thing, except I also have itchy feet, both the bottom of my feet and the top. That is where the itching starts, feet and hand, then it spreads to my legs and arms, then my back and abdomen. It is crazy itching, and when I scratch, it leaves huge welps on my skin. AFter 5 years of this craziness and torture, a dermatologist told me I have dermagraphia. I take zyrtec and it stops the itching. It takes a while to start working though, so when my hands start itching, I take one. I can usually go 2 days on one zyrtec before the itching starts.
She can try zyrtec, but usually the palms and soles of the feet indicate a liver problem, so she might want to get that tested too. I hope this helps and she can get the itching under control.
