My mobile is almost due for Upgrade. Which are the trendiest phones to get these days?

I'm currently using a Blackberry 8320, and its been the best phone I've ever used. Mainly due to being able to use my Hotmail email on it, and getting notification alerts whenever something happens on facebook.

But the other Blackberry models basically all seem the same. ANd i know NOTHING about the latest phones.

Can someone give me a list of phones that are great for emails and facebook? (a phone where i can have loads of applications is a bonus)
