hey, sorry.

for cetaphil i use the normal to oily skin bottle (16oz)

for the tea tree oil i just use the pure 100% tea tree oil. the brand i use is called desert essence.

for the aloe vera, just find any 100% aloe vera gelly. i use a 99% organic gel from Lily of the Desert. i got it at whole fooRAB market. whole fooRAB also has their own mock version that works well. however just find any pure aloe vera. DO NOT USE ALOE VERA LOTION OR ANYTHING THAT ISN'T PURE ALOE VERA GEL. the lotions have glycerins and sodium laureth sulfates that really are bad for your skin. and never use aloe vera products with alcohol. just use pure aloe vera gel.

as far as the amount of tea tree oil, i just estimate about a half an oz., maybe more, to one 16 oz. cetaphil pump bottle.
it really shouldn't matter though. i truly believe in this because doctors say its okay to apply pure tea tree oil to individual blemishes. so, when diluted with the cetaphil, it works to penetrate deep into the pores while cleansing. and if a blemish is bothering you, you can apply pure tea tree oil to it even after cleansing and moisturizing.

also, it helps to exfoliate every so often (maybe like once a week) using a hot washlcloth GENTLY massaging your face. just barely rubbing it.

in all honesty, i feel how everyone has felt buying products.
proactiv worked and then stopped working all of a sudden
murad BARELY works. and it makes you smell bad.
anything by clean&clear, neutrogena, clearasil, st. ives(which is like WOODCHIPS basically), biore, is all bad. i've tried it all and i've given each of them at least 3 months (however not the st. ives because that just instantly made my face break out).

honestly natural is the way to go. science has PROVEN tea tree oil to be an antiseptic that works better than benzoyl peroxide without the drying, aloe vera to moisturize and soothe inflamed skin (while also fading acne scars), and cetaphil is so basic that it just makes your face clean without any scents/ or medication. cetaphil is actually a model secret. my cousin is a model and she says thats the insider secret in the industry.

many people also say that your skin will heal itself if you don't use products. thats partly true. however, i'm 16 years old and in the prime of puberty. so hormones affect my acne greatly and natural products won't irritate my skin, so it in a way speeRAB up the process.
do not be weary of my age, my mom is a health expert.

So basically what I do is I got the Cetaphil for Normal to Oily Skin. and I poured in some tea tree oil into the ceptaphil, shook the bottle around. and then i use one of those washcloths that are really soft, not the harsh ones you use for showers (its basically a towel) and i cleanse my face with the cetaphil using the soft washcloth. and then i rinse with cold water. and then i don't dry my face. i leave it wet and then i rub pure 100% aloe vera on my skin. and thats my routine

the cetaphil just takes the oil and dirt off really sensitively. and then the tea tree oil is an antiseptic so it kill the germs that cause pimples to form. and then the aloevera moisturizes, but it also stops pimples from being inflamed, while also fading acne scars. HOPE THIS HELPS! also, i drink about 9 cups of water a day.

also, tea tree oil does not clog pores. its not the "oil" you're thinking of. in fact, tea tree oil actually penetrates INSIDE the pore to clean it. its totally safe to use directly on pimples. however do not use pure tea tree oil for whole face use.
only on affected area ( however you can use it in the cetaphil because its diluted).
warning: tea tree oil does smell however, but i find the aloe vera masks it very very very well.

I just got all those ingredients yesterday and im excited to be trying it!! i hope it works for me too!! im also taking spiro and have differin gel, but they dont seem to be helping and its been 2 months:( so hopefully this will be an answer so i dont have to go on accutane!

to be honest i never really had too many blackheaRAB. i did however have a lottt of whiteheaRAB, and those went away.

yes, i used to have BAD cystic acne and scars. so much redness, and DRYING. but after i started using this method it went away within a week. its so gentle and it doesn't really foam up like others, but others have harsh chemicals that make it foam. and those chemicals are the reason everyone has acne! and aloe vera will clear scarring, but it takes some time. tea tree oil is amazing for fighting acne!

Hi,
I (as you probably guessed) took Accutane twice (once in 1993 in high school and then again in 2005) and now I have no breakouts, but I am left with scarring. Do you think that this formula would help with "old scars" that I very well may have acquired the first time I took Accutane?

Tea tree oil works for me too. I have been washing my face with head and shoulders and the sulfur has done wonders. I only have breakouts when i forget to use it now.

do you use aloe vera lotion, or the aloe that people typical use to heal sunburn, the green or blue gel stuff??

You use Head and Shoulders shampoo on your face? What made you think to do that? Any adverse reactions?
Do you put the tee trea oil in the head and shoulders bottle as well?
