My cousin hooked up my cd player and it worked fine. Then he had to hook up the radio adapter and when he did that some wires touched and it started a spark. Now the memory wont work any ideas?
I would check your power wires, sounds like when the vehicle is turned off, the constant power (which is very little) is not being provided, like when you detach the battery the clock's reset, same principle.... I would think this would be the same scenario, It would be odd to me if the memory in the cd player was blown, because it should have blown the fuse(s) on the back of the cd player first. Check your connections behind the head unit
