My mazda 3 won't start. The radio, lights, a/c, and such turn on, however, when i turn the ignition switch, there is a clicking sound and all the dash lights rotate spastically.
I tried to have it towed, but it is currently parked in an almost untowable area (it's a driveway that is like a 9 point turn when the car is running) with no lighting. I will have to go reverse in nuetral down a very winding canyon road. They said to try that and they could tow me from the main street in daylight.
Something similar happened a year or two ago and the dealership reset my computer. I was also thinking it may be my starter, but I couldn't get to it in the dark.
I am going to have to find a mobile mechanic or very brave driver to get my car out and running. Or I can just fix it myself (and I am good at that kind of thing, even being a girl). Has anyone had this problem, and if so, what was it?
I am going to autozone to get one of those code readers and maybe a manual.
