My M50 Harley

What do you think about my M50 Harley?

In addition to the paint, I had my rear fender brackets and hardware powdercoated black. Next on the agenda: new rear lights and intake.

I had a few reasons to put her on the bike.
1. I am a comic book geek.
2. She runs with The Joker, and it's kinda like my joke to Harley guys. Ya know, calling a Suzuki a Harley.
3. #2 was the geek part I was talking about.

Love the black powdercoat on the rear fender brackets. I'm looking at buying a black m50 and have very often wondered what it would look like - and on silver, it's perfect. Kudos.

I recommend that you also powdercoat the tops of the bolts. Be very careful when installing the powdercoated bolts, you may have to use a smaller size SAE allen as opposed to the normal metric size. I would also attempt to cover the wrench with fabric to further protect from chipping.

Did you have a company do this for you?
Did they remove the chrome or just bead blast it?
I was wanting this but in a dull texture.
Any tips on where to get this done?
Best,
Ken

Sorry for taking so long to post, just got back from vacation. I did have a company do the powdercoating. I'm not sure exactly what the procedure was, but when I ride out there and show off my Harley, the guys should be able to give me more details. I will definetly find out for you by next week.
