My locks are broken on a Pontiac Grand Am 1995?

I plugged a ipod charger into the cigarette lighter and it wouldn't work so i ripped it out then proceeded on my way. When i went to lock my car the locks would work. I have a button in my car that automatically locks them and they stopped working! It won't lock or unlock.

What happened??
Where would I look for these fuses?
 
There should be a fuse that says lock on it . Check your fuses first , because both are with fuses.If it isn't the fuse you probably have a wire problem and need check with a wire tester called a "probe" tester for find your problem
Shucks , auto zone and a few other parts store check fuses for free.
 
Sounds like if you literally didn't rip out the lighter assembly etc that you simply blew a fuse , check the fuse box cover look for a fuse mentioning door locks etc.
