My list of "100 things that annoy me about music"!

They're my opinions from my personal experiences. They don't mean to say all (if they do), just the people who I've met from those genres and groups. I attack the stereotype more so than the music, but I still don't like the music.

that first entry was a little ridiculous.
I enjoy each of the banRAB that you mentioned.
So what's the big deal they have a different taste then you do and you just happened to meet some *******s. Doesn't mean it's the Indie way.

I take people's comments and listen to them, but I just don't care what people think. I want to discuss my people's views, I just don't care what people think of my opinions. I just want to create discussion.

During the punk years I kept my love of Northern Soul to myself.
The soul scene was always underground and apart from a few like minded people that I knew, I didn't go advertising the fact to others.
At the local after school discos in the youth clubs, I would stand around and watch the few soulie's there get jostled and verbally abused by the punks.
Being into Northern Soul in Manchester at that time, was enough to get you your head kicked in.
Not always a good idea being an individual.

The question is how long can we wait?

Allowing time for him to think of another generic, misguided stereotyping of a genre, typing it up. The following posts ripping his 'argument' to shreRAB, him moaning, him getting a week's ban....rinse and repeat.

Well it's my opinion. I just ignore people who want to start a fight.

Besides, I've had a very rough day... my rottweiler died this morning... on my lap on the way back from the vets... he had a heart attack :(

Thus my signature.

I don't have the energy to fight back anymore.

You sound like a bitch then. Is that any better?

But aside from that, I doubt your diversity is that great. Or at least, I doubt I'll care any. Not that I do now, don't get hopeful.

O)n the other hand though, don't dislike something because everyone else does.

I like a lot of stuff that most people would think im completely heterosexual for liking. (Gunther for example)

I quite like their acoustic stuff... I think the things Dave wrote when he was in Nirvana (e.g Marigold and Friend of a Friend) hark back to his roots, and I respect him for them in their original versions.
