I had a bad day today.
It started this morning when I was on my way to school. I was driving along and then my car starts sputtering. It doesn't take me long to realize that I'm flat out of gas. So I wind up coming to a dead stop in the middle of a road full of idiots with my little 11 year old sister in the car, hazard lights blinking and emergency cone in place as I wait for my mother to bring me some gas in a gas can. Well, the cone doesn't last long as it is soon knocked off the road by an asshole going way too fast that nearly wipes me out too.

. So I get in my car and wait. Well everybody is in a fucking hurry. About 5 near misses later a dude in a Pontiac Firebird fails to miss me. To make matters worse, the dude happens to be an old buddy of mine. Reason being is that his view of me is blocked by huge pickup trucks (like jacked-up F150s and Dodge 1500s) and he cannot stop in time. Luckily the damage is not all that bad as he only clipped my tail light. Nobody is hurt. My mom and the state trooper arrive, we go through the procedures and I'm on my way to school. Several near death experiences but my only true worry was about my little sister's mental state. She was a little shaken up. But, everything is OK.
So I get to school not to tardy, go to Spanish class, sit down and then it hits me that I did not do my homework. ("FUCK!!":banghead
My teacher calls me and shows me my grade. Not to pretty. a 69. Time to get my ass in gear I suppose.
Next is my weightlifting class. This week we are maxing out (seeing how much weight we can do one rep of on each lift.). I'm an athlete so I kinda take this seriously. This particular day, we are maxing on squats. I want to get 300 pounds. So I try it and.....drop it. Coach tells me to go 10 pounds lighter, lift it, and try 300 again. I succeed with 290 lbs, but can't get 300 to save my life. Strange trend all week is that none of my maxes have gone up despite all the hard work I have put in. Maybe it's just a bad day. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that my legs were in really bad condition(as in tired) due to the track meet on an asphalt track yesterday after a full interval work out the day before that (FUCKING OUCH!!!:motz
Either way it doesn't matter I still feel like a pussy the rest of the day.
Well school ends, time for track practice, I get reminded I have yet another meet tomorrow :colbert:. Now I am also dreading tomorrow.
I guess shit like this happens right?
