my lawyer sucks he dont know nothing?

mannnn i took this stupid lawyers advice when he came up to me and told me that i should sue this company for not providing a ladder on a job, i fell of the trailer and hurt to lower back disc so i took the lawyer, and its been 8 month every time i ask him hows the case going or how much money he plans on getting he says he dont know and he wants me to go to therapies and shit like that i dont have time i have to work is there any real money in this case from to damage disc
 
Ummm, how about some personal responsibility here. You could have refused to do the job and if they fired you, you can turn them into OSHA and the United States Department of Labor.
 
If you have to get to work and you are in fact working, you may have trouble getting anything. Usually the insurance company will hire investigators to follow you and film shoveling snow, carrying cases of beer or doing yard work. Workers comp and personal injury cases are not usually settled quickly especially if there is any question that physical therapy can help you. It sounds like you need to listen to your lawyer and follow his suggestions. Otherwise you may end up with nothing.
