I use my LCD TV is connected to my laptop via HDMI port. I generally use my tv to watch movies and tv shows from my laptop. I play the audio through my tv speakers and this has worked fine until yesterday.
Now I can only display the video on my tv but the audio will only come through my computer speakers.
When I open up the sound properties/playback devices, it does not show my tv through HDMI anymore and yes, it is set to show disabled and disconnected devices so that is not the problem either.
Anyone have any suggestions? As I say it was working until yesterday. I have restarted the computer multiple times removed the HDMI cable and put it back in to refresh it and I can't seem to figure it out, I would appreciate some help
