my laptop has an inbuilt webcam. how can i use it to take photos?

hi i have an advent 5711 laptop running vista basic and would like to know whether i could use it to take photos, like in macs photo booth?

thanks for answering however nothing is working it was made by microsoft and it is working as the blue light is on and video chatted to my friend earlier.

My computer -> down you will see a USB VIDEO DEVICE .click it.and in the left side, you click TAKE A NEW PICTURE.
