I bought my 1992 Jeep Cherokee Laredo about three months ago, and it ran fine since then. I brought it in to my shop class at school and about a week or so later i tried to start it to pull it in, and nothing, not a click or a wirr. We tried jumping it and still nothing, so we gave up for the day. then a few days later i thought id try it again and it started right up. then two days after that i tried it again and nothing.

Can Anyone help me

try replaceing the battery terminals or next time it dont start tap them with a hammer sounds like a bad connection

We had a similar problem with our 91 cherokee. If you have checked your battery, terminal connections, and starter it could be what we ran into. See if your shop class has a remote starter, hook it up and turn the key and see if it starts. If you don't have one, you could try to cross the starter and see if it starts.
It turned out to be the neutral safety switch, which allows the vehicle to only start in park or neutral. It can be an expensive fix 200-300 for the part alone, over 500 if you take to shop. Good Luck and hope this helps.

Bad starter solenoid or loose connection, probably to ground.
Try to start it with the lights on, and if they go out then that's a good sign of bad connection.
One other probable cause could be the starter gear getting stuck on the flywheel. Next time it happens, try to jerk the car while in gear if it's a stick shift, otherwise you'll need a push to free it up.

Defective starter solenoid...

I would also load test the battery and double check connections (tightness, corrosion, etc)
