My jeep takes about 10 seconds to start, any ideas?

When I go to start my jeep I have to keep the key turned over for about 10 seconds before it actually turns over. I've taken it to a shop and they couldn't tell me anything, they said they fixed it but it still does it. Could it be my ignition switch going bad? I know it's not my fuel pump or my fuel injectors...I'm at a loss. Anyone have any ideas?
It does run fine once I get it started, just getting it started is the problem. Also, if I only leave it sitting there for a few minutes it starts right up.

im nawt to sure i work on cars on my spear time and i had one or those cars it can be the starter or just as simple the battery it depends on the km the year and if you over started it be for witch wears it out witch will mean the starter is bad

it sounds like the fuel system isnt holding pressure after it turns off. if you're sure your fuel pump is good, look into a faulty fuel pressure regulator. by the way, just because the fuel pump works doesnt mean that it won't fail to keep the line pressurized after the system is off. there is a small check ball in the fuel pump that doesnt let the pressurized fuel in the lines back into the tank (past the pump), and this ball will commonly find its way out of its seat.

I hate to say it but it sounds like it is losing it fuel pressure when you leave it sitting. When you get it started does it run normally? If it does then you are losing your fuel pressure. I would start with a new Gas cap. When you get answers like the first one you are going to be here a while. Right Daryl...
