Alright, so I was having a lot of problems with my Jeep once the snow hit this year. It died on my way to work and wouldnt stay running more than about a mile. I got that fixed... or so I thought. Well, it runs and it stays running for many many miles, but every so often it will die. Usually when Im putting on the break the idle will drop, if I press the gas it will stay running. Usually its at lower speeds that it acts funny. I can drive like 60 miles and hour down the freeway just fine. It only does it ever so often. Usually it just starts back up but once the other day I had to give it gas as I was starting it to get it to actually start.
I have a few ideas about what to do, but if anyone knows anything please let me know so I dont go wasting more money. Its a 89' Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4X4 4.0 6 Cyl. If you have idea's or have had the same problem or are a mechanic please let me know. I'd really like to have this Jeep a bit longer before it craps out on me completly. Thanks!
