My Jeep is making a clicking noise whenever i turn the steering wheel?

You could ask a couple reputable and non reputable garages for an estimate on your "steering jacket" because it makes a clicking sound. They might come back and say it wasn't the steering jacket and give you a different diagnosis. Don't you wish mechanics were like contractors in the sense they could give up free estimates.

So every time I turn the steering (left or right) it makes a clicking sound from underneath somewhere... sometimes it is worse then others and sometimes it wont do it at all. Im thinking it might be the axel but im not sure..? any other ideas of what it may be?? And where could i take it to just have it diagnosed with out having to pay a hundred dollars just to have it looked at??
