It's a 2006 TJ. the wobble is scary, I've read in forums to change everything but the hood latch. HAHA anybody had this? more importantly, if you had the problem could you fix it??
Good ideas so far, but I have done the tire rotation and balance, plus one new tie rod and checked the rest and I'm on my 3 steering stabalizer. it' an 06 with 32,000 miles on it, keep the ideas coming! I'm open to any ideas

Look at the wheels,is there wheel weights inside and outside of the wheels? If not then the wheels have not been balanced correctly. Some tire shops don't put wheel weights on the outside of the wheels because it looks bad,but this isn't the correct way to balance a wheel.

It's either your tires or maybe you need a new tie rod, you have to be careful with tie rods because if they go bad your wheel will snap off while driving.

Swap the front and back wheels. If the problem goes away then you have either a tire out of balance or a bad belt in a tire. If the problem does not go away then have the suspension checked out. Normally a wobble between 40 to 50 is tire balance.
