heat sensors, and driving it 285 m? freeway and in-town miles. The computer had 3 "not ready" yesterday. After I drove it to 285 miles, one was "ready". My question is, does anyone know the Drive Cycle for my vehicle? I must pass an emissions test Monday, as my tags expire and I already have an extension. Any specific things (like drive to 60, under 40, etc., drive cycle). My mechanic says there is nothing else to be repaired, it just needs to be driven more. So, anyone know how to get my Jeep to pass in two days?? Thank you!
Wade thank you. So what youare saying (i know nothing of cars) is that there is something else wrong. So please tell me what to do exactly. I need it to pass in two days. What should I tell my mechanic? What do I need to do replace the coolant? I am confused. Once again, thank you very very much I am lost and no one seems to know. Thanks
Thanks Curt, but I didnt just get in and drive 285 miles. I did the majority of it in town miles, starting stopping and turning off the car , letting it sit etc. Even when I had my battery replaced it did the same thing, but after 3 days of driving it was fine. Once again, I must have it pass by Monday. Would you recommend driving it around town all weekend then? I am on a time constraint. There must be some solution or recommended drive cycle to speed up the process. If you know it, please let em know. Thanks again!
