my ipod is blinking-SDRAM full test- how to stop it helpplease?

I don't know why but when I turned on my ipod today it ran a test I guess. Ever since(5 hours ago) it's been blinking.

It says:

"SDRAM Full Test

Please wait....

RUN: BL on
PASS: BL blink
FAIL: BL off

Reset to continue."

So I guess it passed. But why did it run a test anyway?

And more importantly how do I reset this and will I lose all my music? Thank you!
